2015 FALL ModLab (Fine Arts 215) Open Schedule

Final_DSCModLab | Fine Arts 215
The ModLab is a reconfigurable research space that is designed to allow students and faculty to experiment with digital media. The name of ModLab is meant to evoke the modular nature of the space and the the “modding” practices of digital culture, in which hardware and software are modified and reimagined beyond their intended scope. ModLab is a space for experimentation and tinkering. The DSC hosts open hours in ModLab, Monday through Thursday 10:00am-4:00pm and Fridays 10:00am-2:00pm.

Final_DSCCoLab | Fine Arts 217
The CoLab is a collaborative learning space that features five backbone work stations, each of which contains a computer, a large flatscreen display, and connections for laptops and tablets. Tables in the CoLab are mobile, so the space can be configured for seminar discussions as well as for technical workshops. The CoLab can accommodate 18 people, and it is available as a classroom space and for events. Please contact Jake Hufner for information about reserving the CoLab.
